What does 1/87 scale mean for the building model?

A 1/87 scale building means the model is 87 times smaller than the real building.

In other words:

Model size = actual building size ÷ 87

This scale is commonly used for scale dioramas, train layouts, and architectural models.

It’s compatible with 1/87 scale cars, figures, benches, and other accessories — perfect for realistic city or industrial scenes.

Example:

If a real building is about 20 meters (2000 cm) tall,

2000÷87≈23 cm

So a 1/87 scale model would be approximately 23 cm tall, depending on the design.
